The University of Alabama’s College of Human Environmental Sciences has been equipping early childhood educators for success for decades. Our top-ranked bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Through innovative online coursework, we’ve expanded access to our premier faculty, helping students earn their degrees while they continue to work full time and balance family and other responsibilities. Tuition is affordable, and scholarships are available.

The program coursework focuses on the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of young children as well as parent/child relationships. The degree will prepare you to work with children from birth to age eight so you can guide them through some of their most important developmental stages.

We’d love to help you reach your goals, and our admissions counselor Gary Vaden is here to help you with any questions you may have. Contact us today to get started!
