The COVID pandemic has brought many challenges and forced many of our affiliate conferences to cancel or convert to a virtual format. Currently, we feel our conference is too far out to make that decision. As we continue to plan our 2021 conference amidst the pandemic we felt it necessary to be transparent in our planning process. We want every person who takes part in our conference to feel safe and protected at our annual event.
SECA is currently examining and modifying all aspects of our conference to provide a safe experience for all who are in attendance. This includes limiting session sizes, requiring pre-registration for all attendees, modifying events like receptions, silent auction, the exhibit area, and registration to avoid crowding and unnecessary touching. We will continue to update you on the progress of our conference as this pandemic changes.
